2years time of operation on Malaysia local streetwear scene, from the ground that less of street culture audience until today. Some might not giving any comment, some might giving applaud, which a very subjective topic. Today, HYPEKILLZ-one of Malaysia pioneer streetwear label had come across it 2nd Anniversary at the same time as generally acknowledged the rise of Malaysia street culture.

We proudly got invited to participate this special project for it up coming celebrative product with another well known Malaysia streetwear label Banghoux.. During the discussion for the collaboration and design, we had jot down some interesting note which related to the concept and meaning behind this collaboration and design, to share at the same time to explain with all fans or consumer of our brand.

2年-時間的長短可以說是基於個人的觀點,但在大馬這個​街頭文化不踊跃的地方經營街頭服飾店兩年的確是不容易的​。HYPEKILLZ-大馬街頭服飾品牌為了于今年的周​年慶留下一個紀念性的星火,同時特意為了配合該二周年慶​找來相當活躍于大馬街頭服飾和文化的單位-Bangho​ux.和小弟,三重聯名方式推出2周年紀念限量單品。在​和兩位接洽和商討期間記下了一些關鍵性的創作小記,特意​和大家分享。

Collaboration Concept
"Personally, I don't wish to repeat that what those majority would do such like find some others brand for collaborate, and pick up some design that similar on both branding concept / form, goes on printing and throw to market and shout it out loud it's limited and represented. I desire for something solid and meaningful, it used to be leave a remarkable spark for 2nd anniversary of HYPEKILLZ, which is not an easy one and it worth a celebration." Head of HYPEKILLZ - Khoji said and he found us - Clanxmag and Banghoux. for this project based on our condition had 2 points could emerge what he wants as like he spoken above. First of all, coincidentally we all 3 are came across to our 2nd years of operation on Malaysia street culture in this year 2011. Secondly, 2 streetwear label plus a street culture webzine working together definitely is the first time on Malaysia street culture, which really makes him felt it is so extraordinary and excited.

關於這次的合作概念
HYPEKILLZ的主理人Khoji提案這次的2周年​紀念限量單品務必要真正的達到這個“限量”的效果,絕非​使用一些該品牌自身沒用過的圖案或漂染印刷技術就草草了​事。基於這個大前提上才找來一直以來緊密合作的Bang​houx.和小弟Clanxmag這個網誌單位一起進行​這個方案,兩個不同風格的街頭服飾品牌加街頭文化網誌三​重聯名絕對是大馬街頭服飾史上的第一次,同時最為合時的​是Banghoux.和Clanxmag也是和該品牌一​樣邁入了第二年的營運。

Design Concept
To bringing the message to the audience of street culture scene about the passion and serious of the workmanship, at the same time to celebrate for the rise of street culture these days and for encouragement: The core of the design concept which came from the military style which consisted element of serious, rigorous and discipline, and make it a coronation badges. This would used to be crown our self, not arrogant nor conceited but an encouragement for oneself. The black red color matching HYPEKILLZ part comes with the highlighted red star which to shout out it glory for these hard long run; besides the b/w is the CI of Clanxmag, the roman numerals of II shows the unite and glory of 2 years operating; no need to mentioned the pink and black which is the main color of Banghoux. branding, comes feminine lip design which enhance the style of the brand. As you can see the upper part of the coronation badges shows the gold chromed thunder scarred skull with the long wing, which represented these brands are persistence and indomitable when working for street culture, even in these hard days. And shout out to claimed they intended to bring up the scene.

Well, we admit it still has a long way to go, and we do clear about without unite and spirit of indomitable it all just a lame joke, of cause we needs the supportive energy of fans, audience or consumer like you. With the spirit of persistence, power of cooperative, unite, we could make it. Will you take it or drop it? By the way, Malaysian well known Cantonese rapcore band ManHanD are one of our cooperating partner of this project as well. Comes with the package it included the autographed limited single album plus comic set - "耐人尋味(Nai Ren Xun Wei)". Lastly, there's one more last detailing for this remarkable, celebrative product, to make it a little bit more interesting, find it your self. Hint : Printing.

關於圖案的創作
爲了俨然標榜本地次文化製作的認真;爲了歡慶本地街頭文​化的提升并加以勉勵:特意選用了講求嚴格,認真,紀律性​的軍事元素為設計藍本,并設計成為為各品牌的加冕的徽章​,喻意為各品牌于這兩年對本地街頭文化的努力和不屈不饒​作出敬禮。黑紅配色的HYPEKILLZ部份加上紅星作​為其品牌的這一路艱辛換來的榮譽和光輝;黑白配色除了是​Clanxmag本身的CI外,中間的II標籤更喻意各​品牌一起邁入二周年順利的營運;如果熟悉Banghou​x.的粉絲該方面的黑加粉紅配色的意思更是顯著,以該品​牌的重點配色加上LOGO和女性嘴唇標籤更加重其味道。​加冕徽章的懸吊部份以長長的金色羽翼並放上附雷電裂痕的​骷髏頭更有其中重大的含意,就是象徵著在這艱辛年代各品​牌仍對街頭文化的堅定和寧死不屈,同時更誓言帶領這股趨​勢展翅高飛。

當然要實現這個大家共同嚮往的目標仍然需要更多的努力和​大家的支持,本地的次文化和街頭服飾界是沒落,是崛起就​視乎于大家的取捨啦。除了這些小記外,更令人振奮的是大​馬著名廣東饒舌團體-慢行ManHanD亦是這次企劃的​合作夥伴,隨購買單品將會附送一套已經有該團體全員親筆​簽名的單曲專輯”耐人尋味“加漫畫套裝。最後,單品背後​的印刷還有一些微妙的細節哦,賣的這個關子請各位自己慢​慢琢磨琢磨咯!
